How concrete volume works
Estimate rectangular slab volume in cubic meters and cubic yards.
Formula and convention
Volume = length x width x depth / 100 x (1 + allowance / 100). One cubic yard = 0.764554857984 m³.A worked example
A 4 by 3 m slab at 10 cm depth is 1.2 m³, or 1.26 m³ with 5% extra.
Scope and precision
Volume only: this does not specify structural thickness, reinforcement, foundation design, mix, or load capacity.
Displayed results may be rounded. Inputs are processed locally and are not stored by this site. Keep the original values if you need to reproduce the result.
