How wallpaper rolls works
Estimate full-height strips and rolls for straight walls.
Formula and convention
Strips = ceiling(wall width / roll width). Strips per roll = floor(roll length / (height + trim)). Rolls = ceiling(strips / strips per roll).A worked example
12 m of wall at 2.5 m high with 0.1 m trim and 0.53 by 10 m rolls needs eight rolls.
Scope and precision
Pattern repeats are not included. Openings are not subtracted because they may require complete strips. Check the pattern before purchasing.
Displayed results may be rounded. Inputs are processed locally and are not stored by this site. Keep the original values if you need to reproduce the result.
